About the
care page
Music and Art have always heavily influenced culture in a society. This doesn’t just end when you get old, in fact it becomes more important. I have seen people who are non-verbal due to their dementia sing lyrics to the songs they love.
This page is dedicated to the work I do in age care and disability. Using my abilities as a musician and artist, I create meaningful experiences for my clients and always strive to adjust my craft to suit the audience I have in front of me.

An Adelaide Christmas
My work sometimes Leeds me to strange places and interesting conversations with the folks that I take care of.
This happened during one of my group music therapy sessions at ECH Henley Beach, when we were discussing what Christmas carols we would like to practice.
We had a group chat about what we loved about Christmas, particularly Christmas in Adelaide. With the help of my colleagues recording the different and diverse ways to celebrate the season, we all together formed the foundation of our very own Christmas carol.
I LOVE MY DOG…
The idea of a children’s book called [Pawprint on my heart] came out of an idea thought up by my supervisor and good friend Amie Edwards. She asked a simple question to residents of the nursing home that I work at and the question was I love my dog because?
